Our South Valley Cusco tour takes you to visit the most important archaeological complexes of the South Valley Cusco, which are located south east of the Inca city of Cusco.
Visit:
Tipon Archaeological Center. Located 27 km from the city of Cusco, in the district of Oropesa. Considered, according to many scholars, an Inca temple to the water. Since it houses one of the largest irrigation works and a complex system of terraces.
The Pre-Inca city of Pikillacta. Located in the district of Lucre, near the wetlands of Huacarpay. It is one of the best known and best preserved pre-Inca cities of the Wari culture.
The chapel of San Pedro Apostle of Andahuaylillas. One of the most beautiful colonial temples in America, better known as the Sistine Chapel of America. It houses the best of the colonial art of the Cusquenian School.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to taste the delicious Chuta breads, which are traditional in the town of Oropesa.

At 08:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel and depart by tourist transport to the South Valley of Cusco, through the 3S Highway (Cusco – Puno).
On the way, the first tourist attraction that we will visit during our tour will be the water temple of Tipon. In this place we will observe the impressive canals, the magnificent water fountains and a complex system of terraces.
Then, we will continue our trip to the ancient city of the Waris of Pikillacta where we will appreciate the great pre-Inca urban center and the impressive views of the wetlands of Huacarpay – Lucre.
Finally, we will travel a short distance to the district of Andahuaylillas where we will visit the Church of San Pedro Apostle of Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of America, which houses the best samples of religious art of the colony.
Between 13:00 hours, finished with the tour of the South Valley, return to the city of Cusco.
