Itinerary

Day 1Maras Moray Salineras

The tour starts with the pick up from the hotel from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., Then we will start the tour heading northwest of the city of Cusco, passing through very typical populations of beautiful landscapes, the first point of visit will be the town of Maras, from where you can see the peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range covered with perpetual snowy as the snowy «El Chicon» and «La Veronica», then visit the archaeological complex of Moray, a set of huge terraces that overlap concentrically in a giant pit, which in Inca times served for the study of agriculture. Then we will visit the salt mines that are made up of about 2000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since Inca times, colonial times and are still being exploited by the locals. After our visit we will return to the city of Cusco. Arriving to Cusco at 2:00 p.m. approximately.
