The Machu Picchu 1 day tour starts at 6:00 am we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco, we will take you to the train station where we will board our train to then make our trip to the town of «Aguas Calientes» (2000 m.a.s.l.).
Upon arrival at the train station, our guide will be waiting for you with a sign and your names, with him you will go to the bus station, to ascend 400 m high, by a zigzagging road, for 30 minutes to reach the incredible wonder of the world «The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu», known as «The Lost City of the Incas».
Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will go through the control where you will give your entrance ticket, from this place the guided tour will begin, you will visit the main places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Enclosures, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries, after the guided tour you will have time to walk around the city on your own.
After the tour in Machu Picchu we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch in one of the restaurants in town (lunch is not included in the package).
In the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco (you must be at the station 30 minutes before the departure time of your train), the return will follow the same route as the outbound journey, arriving at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco (1 hour and 30 minutes trip in our private transportation). We will be arriving in Cusco at approximately 8:00 pm.
