We start the tour with hotel pick-up, followed by a 25-minute transfer to Tica Tica, specifically to the Sencca sector. Here, we will take part in a 15-minute practice session until all passengers are ready. The guide will ask each passenger if they are comfortable and ready with the ATVs before starting the tour. Once the passengers give their approval, we will begin the ATV ride to Piuray Lagoon.

Afterward, we return to visit the Dwelling of the Gods, where we can admire the completed stone sculptures. Faqs

Apologies! Here’s the corrected version without any omissions or unrequested modifications:

Piuray Lagoon

Piuray Lagoon, located 31 kilometers from Cusco in the Chinchero region, is a vital surface water source for the area. At an altitude of 3,720 meters above sea level, it supplies 42% of Cusco city’s drinking water. This water resource is surrounded by stunning landscapes, including the snow-capped mountains Salkantay, Verónica, and Soray, which frame its __cpLocation in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
This lagoon is not only important from a water resource perspective but also as a tourist attraction. Activities such as paddleboarding (SUP) allow visitors to enjoy its natural beauty while connecting with the Andean environment. Additionally, its proximity to Chinchero and other points in the Sacred Valley makes it an accessible destination for exploring the region’s cultural and historical richness.

The climate in Piuray is semi-dry and temperate, with average temperatures of 10°C. During the dry season, from April to September, clear skies and radiant sun create the perfect environment for outdoor activities. In the rainy season, from October to March, temperatures range between 3°C and 18°C, offering an equally attractive but wetter panorama.

Overall, Piuray Lagoon stands out not only for its functional importance and natural beauty but also for the unique experiences it offers to those seeking to discover the magic of the Peruvian Andes.
